Arnaud Dumont and Lawrence Carbon set up their first consulting and development company in 2010, specializing in content management for the media and publishing industries.

From 2019, ContentSide is opening an R&D department dedicated to artificial intelligence.

The Semantic Platform solution goes on sale in 2021 and has become the leading AI solution for publishing editorial content, used by french national library and dozens of majors publishers.

Creation of Algocat

As the expertise in artificial intelligence acquired since 2019 was meeting important challenges for online catalogs, Arnaud and Lawrence decided to create a new company dedicated to automating product information at the end of 2022: Algocat.

With exploding catalog sizes, legal constraints and ever-increasing buyer demands, it's becoming crucial for online retailers to produce product information faster and better- and that's the heart of our corporate project!

Algocat has its own semantic and computer vision AI platform, that also integrates generative artificial intelligence technologies (including GPT) to provide the best possible response to each customer's challenges, in a comprehensive support approach: audit, action plan, correction and enrichment, generation.

Algocat's technical team includes 6 experienced developers and 3 researchers in artificial intelligence and information organization.
